Kyu-Jin Lee Domestic Theatre Domestic Theatre is about the possibility of creating a visual narrative through a textiles and fashion collection. For a short period of time I collected mundane objects from our home. These objects were typically things broken and abandoned in the corner of my room, living an almost invisible life. Having collected their ‘life stories’, I am creating a platform where they could come out to perform these stories, to be ‘staged’ as characters in a theatre play… Domestic Theatre aims to identify how visual narrative methods can be applied in terms of a textile/fashion collection. |
