Linda Florence linda@lindaflorence.co.uk Morphic Damask I am interested in challenging our perception and experience of space by designing innovative concepts for flooring design. Flooring is the most touched surface in both the interior and exterior but it is also often the least inspiring one when it comes to design. My work looks at surface pattern and texture and challenges where the floor surface starts and ends. I have explored a range of hybrid design concepts such as” wall-to-floor “coverings and temporary surfacing. Lately I have been focusing on a range of flooring designs which evolve with time and reveal hidden patterns with wear and tear. |
