of technologies in textiles which could assist in improving human
communication. Far from making communication impersonal, my accessories
employ technology to make it more emotionally enriching. In the
dialogue between textile craft and communication technology I place
much importance on the symbolic and experiential qualities such
as human touch. The product designed should be able to captivate
our souls, make us aware of our emotional and spiritual state and
provoke us to express a response. |
