Rainer Stolle rainer@brotundbutter.de Immersive Lace In my research I started by exploring the technologies that can be applied to create wearable screens. After first attempting to integrate a screen into a garment, I then turned this around and looked into how technology can translate into an aesthetic on the surface of a garment. Juxtaposing techno-imagery with lace in the context of fashion print is an attempt to transform technology into ornament and decoration. The message is “Information as Decoration”. |
