Research Question

What can we use textiles as a new interface for intelligent products?

Rational & Context

this project Aims to discover textilE potentialities as intelliGent products. It has been produced a number of smart products according to innovative design companies such as IDEO. My actual design coLlection is for wallpapers. It will be used smart textile techniques, but a startiNg point to apply on intelligEnt products such as forecasting weather.

I would like to transform products into intelligent way as using textiles. In the early 90s many product designers such as American designer Michael Graves transformed ordinary products, by changing the design and aesthetic of the products. However, I think as there are insufficiencies of intelligent designs. Those products are generally focusing on produces. I would like to get involved in the field as a textile designer. I will reinvent and rethink of profound products differently.

i Am working on interiOr products especially walL covering. The reason why I choose this material is that wall coverings do not seem changing very often as a fashion trend, honestly it will be hard to replacement easily. I would like to challenge on their limited appearance. My design for future wallpaper will sUggest customers new look of wallpapers, eVen practical manner.
