"bollick"
Cecilia focused her research on studying traditional and contemporary interpretations of lace. She started working on hyperbolic structures and has developed a serie of structures and photographs titled " Bollick". The idea has since been developed for a group exhibition called " fashion craft: fashion technology " at University of Technology Sydney 27th of April. The final piece will be a collaboration with the Embroiderers Guild in New South Wales. Cecilia will provide them with a silk screen printed pattern derived from the drawing of the hyperbolic structure itself. The embroiderers will work in units and embroider over the printed pattern before to finally stitch the whole structure together.
