ICA Talk - "Designing for Sustainability: Is it worth it?"
19 March 2007
Carole Collet speaks on an ICA Club panel discussion.
'Designing for Sustainability: Is it worth it?'
On Monday 19 March, The Club at the ICA will address the notion of designing for sustainability and what the short and long-term benefits of eco-design are to the development of your business.
An eminent panel of speakers from the business and design community will explore the question of how designers can maintain their commitment to innovation without substantial loss to the natural environment AND their business. We will be asking ‘As a small business, how much do you have to invest to become truly sustainable?’, ‘What are the short and long-term benefits?’ and fundamentally, ‘Is it worth it?’
We are delighted to have journalist Lucy Siegle, Ethical Living columnist for the Observer and founder of the Observer Ethical Awards, act as chair for the evening. -
