The Zebra fish as a Model Organism.

Scientist: Stephen Wilson.

Facilitators: Harry White, Kara cereveny.

The image of the injured Zebra Fish fin, shown by Stephen Wilson, acted as a spring board towards the focus of our design project. We were inspired by how the White blood cells worked together to heal the injured fin.

Key words taken from Stephen wilson's presentation were Community and collaboration.

After a brain storming session we came up with the idea of an educational programme, Danio (taken from Danio rerio the latin name for Zebra Fish) geared towards children in the early stages of education;which they could reinact with their teacher.Through the 'Cell dance' in the programme we wanted to convey how the cells in the body work together towards a common cause.
