Inovative Textiles

Inspired by the ritual of dining and the dinner time experience, a collection of tablecloth patterns were designed to challenge the traditional tablecloth aesthetic. This was achieved by playing with the illusion of placement; 2d and 3d texture; opacity, transparency, light and dark on to non woven materials.

Additionally, craft is utilised alongside these unusual materials to produce a range of print techniques including: print, embossed, laminated and flocked designs.

Patterns inspired by traditional tablecloths: lace and cultlery florals.

Emboss, flock, laminate.
