Final Project
Mark is creating a Women'swear Fashion collection inspired by the concept of “
"Brinksmanship"
which is the competitive practice of risk taking and living dangerously in order to gain the greatest advantage.
This translates into garments whose pattern cutting and prints are engineered to the extreme so that from a rectangle of fabric not a single piece is wasted.
The prints in the collection are inspired by a lifestyle of danger and extreme luxury. They take inspiration from James Bond movies, knives and look at the similarity between sword intaglio designs and lace.
