Biography
I am a multidisciplinary textile designer, with a degree in a woven textile design. After graduating from Loughborough University in 2001, I went on to design woven and printed designs for a shirt maker, then fell into the world of interior magazines. After three years at Country Homes and Interiors, culminating in a position as Style Editor, I decided to go back to my roots and reaffirm my love of textiles. My Masters in Textile Futures is giving me the opportunity to explore a new world of textile design, researching smart technologies, combining science with design, and exploring issues of sustainability as well as continuing my passion for pattern and colour.Year 1 Projects
