Biography

Veronica is a Colombian Fashion Designer with experience in the kidswear industry. Before coming to London she was working at Tina Neumann, company specialised in fashion for girls aged 2 to 16, as a fashion designer.

Final Project

Veronica's project explores the different relations between external light and textiles i.e. shadowing, changing colour, reflections. Using her photography as a starting point Veronica is looking at textiles as an element of personal reflection.

Research Question

How can light redefine textiles literary and metaphorically?

Rational & Context

The only way humans are confronted with the sence of infinteness is when looking at the horizon. Light brings the horizon to life and makes it change all the time i.e. sunrise, noon, sunset, twilight. All this different moments, when together with the notion of infinite, makes us reflect about our condition in this world. This project is about exploring this moods with simple day to day elements like shadows, light, reflection and colour.
